Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Bub (“Bub”, “we”, “us”) — the Chrome extension and web app that add voice notes, native video, AI rewrite, and saved snippets inside LinkedIn. By installing or using Bub, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Bub.

The service

Bub adds tools to LinkedIn’s message composer. Core features are free for individual use. Some team features may require a paid plan in the future; we’ll make pricing clear before you’re charged.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

• Use Bub lawfully and in line with LinkedIn’s own terms of service.
• Don’t use Bub for spam, harassment, deceptive outreach, or to send content you’re not allowed to send.
• Don’t attempt to bypass usage limits, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.
• Don’t use Bub to violate anyone’s rights or applicable law.

Bub is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn. Your relationship with LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn’s terms, and you’re responsible for complying with them.

AI-generated content

AI rewrite produces suggestions to help you write. Output can be inaccurate or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you send it and for the messages you ultimately send.

Your content

You keep ownership of your drafts, recordings, and messages. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service (for example, sending your draft to our AI provider to generate a rewrite you requested). See our Privacy Policy for details.

Availability

We work to keep Bub reliable but provide it “as is” and “as available.” We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bub is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bub and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Bub and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll update the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use means you accept the changes.
